Fundraising

We had a very successful raffle in 2012 and will continue to do this each year with a celebration of life on Lee's Birthday and also have the drawing.  This year we plan on having a car wash or two, but welcome all ideas.  Please go to the "Contact" page with any ideas you have.

Love of Life

If you asked anyone that attended Lee's service what was the one thing they took away from it, they would say they wanted to live their life like Lee did, to the fullest and with a smile. He never wanted to be the center of attention, but by default he always was.....everyone loved him and he did Ride every wave like it was his last!

Vacations

On of the many family vacations we went on in 2003 we took Lee and his friend to Mexico over the 4th of July week.  They had a grand time and we will all have funny stories about this this trip that we will be shared with future generations.

Friends for Life

Learning to surf is a brotherhood, you make life long friends.  It has been said that if you make three good friends in a lifetime you are doing great.  Lee had countless friends that are still friends, with little children that will all grow up together.

Paddle Out

A Paddle Out is one the most emotional and beautiful ways to honor a surfer who has lost their life.  We had Lee's paddle out on September 21, 2011 and it brought peace to all of us.  There will be another paddle out on August 25th 2012, right after the last heat on Saturday at ECSC.

 Memories

Saying Good-Bye

This has been one of the hardest things for all of us to do and some of us still have not been able to.  We know that he is looking down on all of us and will be watching the children that will be joining Lee's Lil Shore Breakers and keeping them safe.
